MC-ARES/RACES

This blog area is where we share info regarding ARES and our "Served Agencies" and it is a good area to talk about DIY projects so you can be an Elmer to our newer hams.

If you are aware of an emergency in your area then please post a comment here in the BLOG so we can all monitor the situation.

You must be a "member" of this website to be able to post or comment in this blog but ANYONE can post a reply comment.

Emergency Status Test

Posted by Jim Tripp / WA6DIJ on July 19, 2014 at 12:00 AM Comments comments (0)

This is a test of the blog page on the ARES website to see if members of the site get notified of a new message.  We hope that ANYONE who is aware of an emergency will use this to report the situation so that all of us can monitor the status.

Did you know that the Monterey County ARES website has a blog page that you can use to communicate with one another?  The page is at http://www.mc-ares.org/apps/blog/

Let me know if you have any problems using the blog.  Remember you must be a member of the mc-ares website and be signed in in order to use the blog.

Testing ARES website Blog

Posted by Jim Tripp / WA6DIJ on October 9, 2013 at 3:40 AM Comments comments (3)

On our ARES website at www.mc-ares.org we have a blog area where people can post comments.  I am posting this message on the blog to see if all members of the website are notified (or not) of new blog posts.

So, if you receive an email notification about this post then please send me a reply (or write a reply on the blog) to [email protected] so I will know the status of blog notifications.

Thanks,
